Great news. You and your team's dedication of time and effort to this rescue of history and permanent contribution to humanity's self-knowledge is greatly appreciated by your many silent onlookers. Every update is appreciated, even of frustrating difficulties and the techiest of accomplishments.
The total count is a bit up for debate in that it depends on what classifies a "full scroll", right now we believe around 300 is the number of unrolled scrolls, but there very well could be more. The 1800 number likely contains fragments and pieces of attempted unrollings.
Nice, as a build123d contributor I am glad to see it used here. I hope it has been a pleasant experience!
build123d has been a game changer for this process, thank you for contributing!!!

Amazing work ! Are you sure it's only 300 scrolls that have been found though? The Wikipedia article speaks of 1800 scrolls https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herculaneum_papyri

Thanks for the answer. Is there an estimate of how many scrolls might still be underground?
We don't unfortunately have a good answer for that as numbers range from 0 to thousands depending on the source. We hope for the latter!
How wonderful! Looking forward to more discoveries about the scrolls...
That test slice looks really crisp! Way cool
This scroll looks very nice for segmentation. Hopefully the text is as easy to find as the wraps!
